By the year 1998, Internet phone service started to become popular. At that time, the gateway has emerged into the field that allowed the computer to make connection with the phone. The technology then got widened by establishing a phone-to-phone connection with the use of Internet in the same year. The computer was still in need to make phone-to-phone connection to begin the call. But the moment the connection got through, a regular handset could be used. In today’s scenario, you no longer need any computer at all. What you require to use the Internet phone is a phone, adapter, high-speed Internet connection and Internet phone service. The broadband phone offers the users the features such as call forwarding, call waiting, voicemail, caller identification and three-way calling without paying any buck. Another attraction is that the user has the freedom of sending the images and documents simultaneously while chewing up communication on the phone.

Since every new product when launched faces the music initially but later developed a worthy status for itself, Internet phone too undergo the same situation but has now turned out to be a trustworthy equipment by getting huge acceptance everywhere. VoIP has dolled up an astonishing thing for the users and that is telecom companies’ turning towards using this technology in order to provide low charges on long distance calls.

Despite the many advantages the Internet phone service has for the users, it carries some drawbacks as well like when the electricity goes off, the VoIP phone stops working and you loss all your communication and data. The only solution is to make arrangements for power backup.

The other one is emergency call 911 issue, which is not properly working on the VoIP phone. This problem is under consideration and soon it will be solved.

The next one is the call quality issue. When the Internet speed becomes shaky or gets slow, the VoIP phone begins to disturb.

Leaving aside the disadvantages of the Internet phone, one thing is obvious that these minor problems cannot become the hurdle before its rapid success and in near future, it will be capturing the whole telecommunication market by defeating the landline and cellular phones completely.

Many schools offer a blended or hybrid course, for which online and face-to-face delivery is mixed together and about 30 to 79% of the course material is delivered online. A5: Most employers know that if you earned a degree online, you did the same amount of work (or in some cases, maybe even more) as anyone else who earned that same degree face-to-face. However, there may be  some employers, for which you will be held at a disadvantage for obtaining an online degree.
