| Customer Reviews: Excellent book for a difficult subject October 21, 2009 mrobinson52 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book was not only required for a class where we had to write a security policy for the term paper, I am using it for my Senior Capstone project security policy. I do not find the book wordy, as another reviewer has said. Security Policy is not that thrilling a topic, but it is necessary if you are going to be in Security Management. I do hope, however, that this book will be updated soon. Some of the info, such as all the references to ISO 17799 need to be updated to the newer ISO 27001. Much has changed in the security field since this book came out in 2006. But overall, a very helpful book if you have to actually write policies.
Excellent condition October 5, 2007 Alain Barringer 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book was a requirement for my University. By purchasing it used at Amazon, I saved alot of money. The book was in excellent condition. I would not be able to tell if it was new or used.
Not impressed January 21, 2008 frogs2day (Cayman Islands) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book is a requiremenet for a class I am taking and I find it extremly superflous and wordy. The author needs to understand that students need to have information presented in a concise manner.
I will most definitely be suggesting that this book be removed from the required reading when I do my course evaluation.
